Today we have been learning how to play handball. We are taking part in a new 'move and learn' project. which is being delivered by our Watford Coach, DJ. We spent 45mins outside today learning the different throws that we can do - they are just like the throws in netball (shoulder, chest, bounce), we then played a game. We learnt that we could only take two steps when we had the ball in our hands, we passed the ball between each of our team members before we were allowed to score. After we had completed the practical part of the lesson, we came back to the classroom to take part in an interactive quiz. Within the quiz we have learnt what stamina and flexibility mean and we have also discovered that the name of Watford's home ground is Vicarage Road! We have had a fantastic morning!
