Maths

What an exciting first day back! In maths today, we have been looking at all of the different measurements we know...there are more than we originally thought! We have talked about 8 furlongs being equal to a mile and 1000g being equal to a kilogram. We have been converting weights of animals at London Zoo which we have been learning about using Espresso. We had to use our knowledge to either multiply or divide by 1000. Earlier in the year we learnt how to do this by moving the decimal place.

Can you convert these weights to kg or g?

1. 4.245kg =   ?g
2. 3481g =     ?kg
3. 12g =     ?kg
4. 34kg =   ?g

Comment below and let us know.
