A trip to the woods

On Tuesday morning, we wrapped up warm and put on our wellies ready to face the squelching mud! We took part in a scavenger hunt challenger, it was a race to find all of the items first. After we had collected all of our items (or as many as we could find), we wrote a recount of our events and made them rather funny! We were able to stick some of our items to our work.

On Monday morning, year 5/6 had a very special visitor, Sue Hampton [author]. She showed us some of her books for example Traces, Just For One Day and Waterhouse Girl and many many more.We also have our own book signed by Sue.She told us how to write a book by writting our story ideas on a piece of card.We are in the middle of writting our own stories; we had to choose our own genre Romance,Action,Horror,Sci-Fi,Fantasy or Adventure. by Oscar
