Science enquiry

Today in science we were learning how to classify items. We were given a range of pictures that we needed to separate into headings - we decided on our own headings. One group organised their pictures into solids, liquids and gases. Another group decided upon a Carroll Diagram using the Headings: Flammable, non-flammable, soft and hard. The final group split their pictures into man-made and natural. We had some really interesting discussions within our groups about where they should be placed, for example, tomatoes are natural, but the glass bottle is man-made, where should it go?
