SATs week

So far the children in year 6 have done a superb job, they have concentrated really hard within their reading paper on Monday, the focus was mostly around animals. In addition to this, Josh has been completing his level 6 SATs papers too. Today the children sat their SPAG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) test, they had a pop quiz from year 5 first thing in the morning and they were confident in all of the terminology that may have arisen in the paper. Again, Josh sat further tests throughout the day completeing the level 6 papers which included another spelling test and a short writing task. We are extremely proud of what they have achieved so far. Over the next few days they will sit their Mathematics papers, including mental maths and a new Paper B, which will no longer involve the use of a calculator. Josh will be sitting his level 6 papers in addition to the level 3-5 papers.
