Townsend Science and Transiton Workshop

Yesterday, we visited Townsend Secondary School in St Albans to take part in a science lesson. Our science lesson was based around sound and electricity, we used a slinky to hsee how travels through the air. We used a tuning fork and put it on our noses, we could feel the vibrations and it made our noses tickle! After our science lesson we moved on to a transition to secondary school lesson where we discussed our worries and concerns about going to a new and bigger school. We also completed school related activities which were about the timetable and how to find our way around. We feel a lot more confident in our move now.
